Why Choose Wales:
Entrepreneurs and individuals looking to expand their businesses into the UK
Blick Rothenberg and Pointblank Promotions have come together for the fourth time for a webinar aimed at companies and individuals who are considering expanding into the UK. Following the launch of the Welsh Government’s “Wales and Japan 2025” campaign, we’re delighted to be joined by Ms. Shoko Doherty, CEO of the Celtic English Academy.
The Celtic English Academy is a language school in Cardiff with over 16,000 international students from over 50 countries. Ms. Doherty will talk about her career to date and the advantage of starting a business in Wales.
While we tend to think of London and its surrounding areas when expanding into the UK market, Shoko Doherty will shine a light on why Wales is also a very attractive place for entrepreneurs.
We will cover:
- Brief introduction to Shoko Doherty and Celtic English Academy
- The advantage of Wales and how it differentiates from other regions in the UK
- Regional branding based on education and tourism
- Benefits for Japanese companies expanding into Wales
- European business culture that values diversity, well-being, and flexibility
- “Regional expansion to the world” in the UK market
After the presentation, there will be a Q&A session.
Please note, this entire session will be conducted in Japanese
